New Website Launched

May 2007 sees the launch of the new Tyson H.Burridge website incorporating a host of additional features for customers.

The customers section of the website has all the company Insurance documents and other relevant licences available to download.

A new computerised stock management system from Haultech has been implemented in the warehouse. This includes an electronic link for warehouse customers to access their stock levels remotely and produce picking lists which they can print off on site at Distington.

An electronic link for transport customers allows them to access their own proof of deliveries.

Both of these features are accessed through the password protected section of the customers area.

New Vehicles meet Euro V Emission Standards
 
Tyson H Burridge has recently put 5 new vehicles on the road as part of an ongoing commitment to reduce the company impact on the Environment.

The DAF CF85 vehicles, supplied by local dealer Solway DAF, are equipped with SCR technology to meet Euro V emission standards which do not become mandatory until late in 2009.

Tyson H Burridge takes its Environmental responsibilities very seriously and a copy of our Environmental policy is available to download in the customers area of the website.



New Krone Curtainsider Trailers

Tyson H. Burridge Ltd have recently taken delivery of 12 new Krone curtainsider trailers.

The trailers which have a tare weight of 6000kg for optimum payload were purchased following the success of 6 identical trailers purchased during 2006.

As part of an ongoing commitment to standardisation across the fleet the trailers are equipped with BPW ECO+ Disc braked axles and Knorr Bremse EBS with roll stability, as are all new trailers which join the fleet.
